About GATE 2014 Exam:
GATE Exam is a very reputed competitive exam. This exam is conducted jointly by seven IITs Indian Institute of Science and every year. Majority of student are from engineering field who take participation GATE. Apart from them, many science graduates also taking interest in recent years.Many PSUs like BHEL, BEL, IOCLetc hire trainees based on marks of GATE. They provide very high salary package. New Exam Pattern of GATE 2014:
- GATE 2014 exam will be taken online this year. This will be online computer based exam.
- There are 21 papers for which test will be online.
- GATE 2014 exam will be held in morning and evening session starting from February 1st, 2014 to March 2nd, 2014. This online exam will be taken on weekend(Saturday and Sunday)
- Since there are many papers which have two parts so there exam will be held in two online session.

- Starting of online form filling : 02/09/2013
- Closing date of form filling : 01/10/2013
- Starting of online exam : 01/02/2014
- Examination time : Morning 9.00 AM to 12.00 PM and Afternoon 02.00 PM to 05.00 PM
- Last date for submission of online form : 03/10/2013
- Last date for printout of receipt : 10/10/2013
- Hall ticket availability : 18/12/2013
- Result announcement : 28/03/2014

2. Fill the online application form
3. Than Upload photograph and signature
4. Its time to pay the Application by using any mode of payment
5. Than submit the application form, take print out of Application form
6. Contact the Zonal GATE Offices in case of any queries/problems
7. Download Admit Card
8. View your responses, marks and GATE score
